The Track Day USA verification standard

How we choose what belongs on track.

A technical catalogue should explain what the driver needs to know before a product is selected, installed and used—not merely place another purchase link on a page.

Research is not inventory

Our working catalogue currently covers 146 product families across 17 track-focused departments, connected to 44 primary manufacturer and brand pathways.

That is a research foundation—not a claim that every product is available for purchase. A product remains a catalogue reference until Track Day USA confirms the exact model, current certification where applicable, fitment, availability, shipping restrictions and return terms.

Seven checks before a listing

The verification gate.

If any of these facts are incomplete, the product remains research—not inventory.

01

Catalogue record

Brand, model, part number and included components must match the catalogue record.

02

Exact product identity

Model number, SKU, included components and manufacturer source must agree.

03

Certification

Helmets, suits, restraints, harnesses, seats and other regulated equipment must carry the certification required for the intended use.

04

Fitment and compatibility

Vehicle, driver, helmet, restraint, seat, harness and mounting relationships must be identified accurately.

05

Availability

Current production status, stock path and expected lead time must be understood.

06

Availability and fulfillment

Stock information, dropship capability, packaging, freight and restricted-material handling must be understood.

07

Returns and warranty

The customer must know which items can be returned and which fitted, personalized, clearance or safety products may be restricted.

Deliberate launch sequence

Why the catalogue is divided into waves.

Track Day USA’s first fulfillment wave emphasizes compact products with relatively low fitment complexity. Later waves introduce products requiring sizing, certification, vehicle-specific fitment, specialized shipping or installation planning.

This sequence lets the store develop supplier relationships and reliable operating procedures before taking on the most complicated equipment. It also protects the catalogue’s technical value. Adding thousands of unverified variants would make the site larger without making it more useful.

Technical understanding before volume

The system matters more than the part.

Track Day USA is the specialized technical and retail channel of DTEC Racing Industries. DTEC’s mechanical, track-preparation and driver-development experience informs how catalogue categories are organized.

A seat is considered together with its mount, harness geometry and driver position. A steering wheel is considered with its hub, quick release, column and driver reach. A data system is evaluated by what the driver can learn from it—not merely the number of features advertised.

What an approved record should show

Useful facts, visible to the customer.

An approved Track Day USA product record should clearly identify the information needed to make a responsible decision.

  • Exact manufacturer and model
  • Certification where applicable
  • Intended use
  • Fitment or sizing requirements
  • Connected components
  • Current price and availability
  • Shipping and return restrictions
  • Manufacturer documentation
  • Why the product belongs in its catalogue tier

Current commercial status.

Product research and application preparation are underway. Individual brands and products are catalogue references; purchasing information will be added only when it is current and useful.

In the meantime, the technical catalogue remains available as a preparation and research resource.
